  • Back to logo pages

Logo size

The minimum size for reproduction of the logo is 20mm wide for the vertical logo and 30mm wide for the horizontal logo.

Exemptions

The logo can only be used smaller than recommended when the surface area of the object demands it (such as on pens, lanyards, USB sticks, pins or name tags).

The preferred alternative to the logo when the surface area is limited is the use of the relevant URL (such as www.tas.gov.au, www.dpac.tas.gov.au).

Logo exclusion zone and positioning

The logo must be surrounded by an exclusion zone of clear space. This applies to every version of the logo and all applications.

Exclusion zone around the logo is measured by the ‘T’ in ‘Tasmanian'.

The logo must not be placed:

  • directly next to another logo, the edge of a page or an advertisement
  • next to a graphic device.

The logo must be placed:

  • on a solid background or on an image background only if the contrast is sufficient and the background behind the logo is plain
  • on the bottom right corner on all printed and digital publications.

Logo position on a portrait document

The Tasmanian Government logo should be placed in the bottom right corner. There are no specific measurements to the left and the bottom of the document. Exclusion zone applies as minimum. It is recommended to place the logo in line with the document's margins.
