Due to low flows, I Tom De La Salle , pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, hereby restrict the taking of water from the Tomahawk River and its Tributaries.
Except upon the written permission of the Minister or a person delegated on that behalf by the Minister, no water is to be taken directly from the watercourse under Surety 5 or Surety 6 allocations for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.
This notice takes effect at 12 Midday Thursday 01 August 2024 and will remain in force until 12 Midday Thursday 15 August 2024.
