Water Notice - South Esk River above Macquarie River, excluding the Nile River and Tributaries.

Due to reduced stream flows, I Kym Honeychurch, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, revoke the current Opportunistic Take for the South Esk River above Macquarie River, excluding the Nile River.

The Existing Surety 8 Flood Take remains current until Monday 9 September 2024.

Water may continue to be taken by licensees under Surety 5 & 6 allocations for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect from 10AM Friday, 6 September 2024.
