Due to increased stream flows, I Kym Honeychurch, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, issue an Opportunistic Take for the Ringarooma River.
Water may now be taken by licensees under opportunistic take for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.
This notice takes effect from 10AM Saturday, 31 August 2024 and will remain in force until the Ringarooma River as measured at the Moorina gauging station falls below 2400ML/d.
