Water Notice - Ringarooma River and Tributaries

Due to increased stream flows, I Elijah Atherton, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, extend the current Opportunistic Take for the Ringarooma River and its Tributaries.

Water may now be taken by licensees under opportunistic take for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect from 12 Midday Friday, 3 July 2026 and will remain in force until 12 Midday Monday, 6 July 2026 or the Ringarooma River as measured at the Moorina  gauging station falls below 2400 ML/d.
