Water Notice - Rigarooma River & Tributaries

EASING OF IRRIGATION WATER RESTRICTIONS

Notice under section 94(5) of the Water Management Act 1999

Ringarooma River and Tributaries.

Due to improved flows, I Daniel Evans, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, revoke the current notice of restriction on the taking of water from the Ringarooma River and its Tributaries. Water may now be taken by licensees under Surety 5 and Surety 6 allocations for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect from 10 AM Friday, 2 October 2026
