Water Notice - North Esk River and Tributaries

Due to increased stream flows, I Kym Honeychurch, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, issue an Opportunistic Take for the North Esk River.

Water may now be taken by licensees under opportunistic take for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect from Midday Friday, 30 August 2024 and will remain in force until the North Esk River as measured at the Ballroom gauging station falls below 1300 ML/d.
