Water Notice - North Esk & Tributaries

Due to increased stream flows, I Tom De La Salle, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, issue an Opportunistic Take for the North Esk River.

Water may now be taken by licensees under opportunistic take for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect from 10:00 Tuesday, 16 July 2024 and will remain in force until the North Esk River as measured at the Ballroom gauging station falls below 1300ML/d.
