Water Notice - Nile River and Tributaries.

Due to increased stream flows, I Kym Honeychurch, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, issue a Surety 8 Flood Take for the Nile River and its Tributaries.

Water may now be taken by licensees under Surety 8 allocations for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect from 12 Midday Thursday, 23 October 2025 and will remain in force until 12 Midday Monday, 27 October 2025 or the Nile River as measured at the Deddington gauging station falls below 27 ML/d.
