Water Notice - Nile River and Tributaries

Due to increased stream flows, I James Dennis, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, issue a Surety 8 Flood Take for the Nile River and its Tributaries.

Water may now be taken by licensees under Surety 8 allocations for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect from 10 AM Wednesday, 17 September 2025 and will remain in force until 12 Midday Sunday, 21 September 2025 or the Nile River as measured at the Deddington gauging station falls below 23 ML/d.
