Water Notice - Mersey River and Tributaries.

Due to reduced stream flows, I Kym Honeychurch, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, revoke the current Opportunistic Take for the Mersey River and its Tributaries.

Water may continue to be taken by licensees under Surety 5 & 6 allocations for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect from 5 PM Friday, 3 July 2026.
