Water Notice - Meander River and Tributaries

Due to increased stream flows, I James Dennis, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, issue a Surety 8 Flood Take for the Meander River including Liffey River, Quamby Brook, Western Creek and its Tributaries.

Water may now be taken by licensees under Surety 8 allocations for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect from 12 Midday Tuesday, 14 July 2026 and will remain in force until 12 Midday Saturday, 18 July 2026.
