Water Notice - Macquarie River and Tributaries.

Due to increased stream flows, I Kym Honeychurch, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, issue a Surety 7 Flood Take for the Macquarie River.

Water may now be taken by licensees under Surety 7 allocations for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect from 12 Midday Friday, 13 September 2024 and will remain in force until the Macquarie River as measured at the Elizabeth River gauging station falls below 250 ML/d.
