Water Notice - Liffey River upstream of West Channel and Tributaries.

Due to low flows, I Stephen Pryor, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, hereby restrict the taking of water from the Liffey River upstream of West Channel and its Tributaries.

Except upon the written permission of the Minister or a person delegated on that behalf by the Minister, take restricted to 1ML/day for Surety 5 or Surety 6 allocations for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect at 12 Midday Tuesday, 16 April 2024 and will remain in forceuntil 12 Midday Tuesday, 30 April 2024
