Due to improved flows, I Elijah Atherton, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, revoke the current notice of restriction on the taking of water from the Liffey River downstream of West Channel and its Tributaries. Water may now be taken by licensees under Surety 5 and Surety 6 allocations for irrigation purposes.
This notice takes effect from 12 Midday Thursday, 19 March 2026
