Water Notice - Greater South Esk Catchment, including the Meander, Macquarie and South Esk Rivers and Tributaries

Due to increased stream flows, I Kym Honeychurch, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, issue a Surety 8 Flood Take for the Greater South Esk Catchment, including the Meander, Macquarie and South Esk Rivers.

Water may now be taken by licensees under Surety 8 allocations for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect from 12 Midday Thursday, 29 August 2024 and will remain in force until 12 Midday Tuesday, 3 September 2024 unless otherwise advised.
