Water Notice - Black River and Tributaries.

Due to low flows, I Kym Honeychurch, pursuant to my delegated powers under section 10(1) of the Water Management Act 1999, hereby restrict the taking of water from the Black River and its Tributaries.

Except upon the written permission of the Minister or a person delegated on that behalf by the Minister, no water is to be taken directly from the watercourse under Surety 5 or Surety 6 allocations for irrigation purposes or into storage for irrigation purposes.

This notice takes effect at 1PM Tuesday, 16 July 2024 and will remain in force until 12 midday Wednesday, 31 July 2024
