Notice is hereby given that the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (NRE Tas) has prepared a Draft Threatened Species Strategy for Tasmania (March 2026). Public comment is now being sought on this document. The Draft Strategy is available for public inspection at the following locations during business hours and on the NRE Tas website (nre.tas.gov.au/conservation/threatened-species-strategy) until Friday the 1st May 2026.
