PUBLIC NOTICE – Fisheries (Marine Plant Management Plan) Order 2026

Section 48A of the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995

Pursuant to the powers under the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 (the Act) that were delegated to the General Manager (Marine Resources) by the Secretary acting pursuant to section 20(2) of the Act, I hereby give notice that rule 5 of the Fisheries (Marine Plant) Rules 2017* (the Rules) is changed by the Fisheries (Marine Plant Management Plan) Order 2026, specifically as follows:

Rule 5 of the Fisheries (Marine Plant) Rules 2017* is changed by omitting “These rules continue in effect for 10 years” and substituting "These rules continue in effect for 12 years".
