Notice — Total Allowable Catch (TAC) of the commercial Banded Morwong Fishery for the 2021-22 Quota Period

NOTICE — TOTAL ALLOWABLE CATCH (TAC) OF THE COMMERCIAL BANDED MORWONG FISHERY FOR THE 2021-22 QUOTA PERIOD

 

I, Guy Barnett, Minister for Primary Industries and Water administering the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 (the Act) pursuant to the powers under section 94 of the Act, for the quota period from 1 March 2021 to 28 February 2022 (inclusive), hereby determine that:

(a) The Total Allowable Catch for the commercial banded morwong fishery be set at 35,760 kilograms;

(b) The part of the commercial banded morwong fishery from which the total allowable catch is to be taken is the “TAC area" as defined in the Fisheries (Scalefish) Rules 2015; and,

(c) The total allowable catch equates to 30 kilograms per quota unit.

Words and expressions used in this notice have the same meaning as they have in the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 and the Fisheries (Scalefish) Rules 2015.
