Tasmanian Infection Prevention and Control Unit (TIPCU)
The TIPCU, within the Department of Health and Human Services, coordinates activities across DHHS clinical care providers, and also has links with the private sector. Its responsibility lies within the area of infections acquired as a result of contact with health care services, namely healthcare associated infections (HAI's)
