- Climate Futures for Tasmania
A research project of the Antarctic Climate & Ecosystems CRC, based in Hobart. The aim of the project is to provide detailed data to better represent Tasmania's geography and its effect on climate change. The data will be made available to local government, emergency services, water authorities, power companies, farmers, graziers, fruit growers, vignerons and researchers
- Climate statistics for Tasmanian sites
Links to tables of monthly averages of selected climate elements for a number of Tasmanian sites
- Climatic extremes
Geoscience Australia maps and tables showing extremes of temperature and rainfall in Australia
- LIST (Land Information System Tasmania)
The Tasmanian Government's land information system, the LIST is the primary source for quality Tasmanian land and resource information such as title, properties, valuation, mapping, surveying, and natural resources including vegetation and threatened species, tenure and orthophoto imagery. Also contains climate change information for temperature and precipitation. LIST also includes an internet based map viewer called LISTMap, enabling users to view and create maps, and interrogate data from over 200 spatial datasets
- Local government area climate profiles
Developed by the Antarctic Climate and Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre, the profiles highlight key results from the Climate Futures for Tasmania project at the local level. Information is provided on past and current climate, and changes in future temperature, rainfall and runoff, extreme events and other impacts
